Dyrlund Lotus, Mid Century Circular Teak Extending Dining Table
A rarely seen and gorgeous piece by the Danish company Dyrlund. The piece goes by the name of Lotus and is unusual in design because it is an extending circular dining table that maintains its circular shape when it extends. It extends by a set of 4 leaves that slide out from underneath the table top. These then in turn fold outwards to a table with a larger diameter.
The piece is in remarkable condition with only the odd blemish when examined closely. These blemishes or marks have been difficult to photograph as they can either only be felt or are very thin.
The piece measures 110cm in diameter when closed, 150cm in diameter when open and 72.5cm tall.
